By the time you go to bed, you'll have a real website live on the internet, with a link you can text your mom and post on your story. No code. No experience. About an hour, with me the whole way.
One clean page that says who you are and what you do.
A real URL on the internet. Not a draft. Live.
Proof you can build. The thing every excuse dies on.
Tonight you make one page. Not a whole website. One. Pick the simplest version of what you need:
Write one sentence in your notes app: "I help [who] with [what]." That's your whole brief. Done.
Go to claude.ai and start a new chat. That's your builder. You'll talk to it in plain English and it writes the actual website for you.
One thing to know: a website is just one file. You're going to get Claude to write that file, then drop it on the internet. That's the entire trick, and you already understand it now.
Copy this, fill in the pink parts, paste it into Claude, and press Enter. It writes your whole page.
Build me a one-page website as a single HTML file. About me: I'm [YOUR NAME] and I help [WHO YOU HELP] with [WHAT YOU DO]. The page should have: - A big headline that makes someone want to stay - A short, warm paragraph about what I do - Three things I offer or three reasons to work with me - A button that says "[BUTTON TEXT]" linking to [YOUR LINK OR EMAIL] Style: [pick one: warm and intimate / bold and modern / soft and minimal]. Colors: dark background, with [YOUR ACCENT COLOR] accents. Make it feel premium. Give me one complete HTML file I can publish. No explanation, just the file.
When it finishes, you'll see a block of code. That's your website. Don't panic at the code, you never have to read it.
Look at the preview. Anything you'd change, just say it in plain words. Keep going until it feels like you. Examples you can paste:
Change the headline to say "[NEW HEADLINE]". Make the accent color [COLOR] instead. Make the about paragraph shorter and warmer. Keep everything else the same.
This is the part that feels like a magic trick. You're going to turn that file into a real link.
Don't sit on it. The point of tonight is the receipt, so cash it.
You just did the thing you weren't sure you could do. Quietly note that.
This morning you weren't sure you could build anything. Tonight there's a link with your name on it. That's not nothing. That's the whole thing.
Ready to build the real thing, the one that sells? That's the next page.
